Original BDM? Mädel Purse

This appears to be a BDM mädel purse. It has a BDM brown painted tunic button closure as well as a snap closure. It appears to be made from similar cloth as DAK tunics. It has a ribbon handle that also acts as a drawstring closure. The purse can be rolled up and snapped closed or it can be stuffed full and then closed using the tunic button closure.We picked this up in Germany a years ago; it is a very interesting and rare piece. There are a few tiny holes and some discoloration on the handle. One side has a water stain. There are a few small repairs.
