Environmentalism and nature preservation was popular in the 1930s/1940s. The back has an advertisement for Loden Frey, a popular high-end trachten clothing company. The book is in decent, readable condition. It has some discoloration and a few pages are pulling away from the spine. There are a couple tears along the spine. It measures just under 9 1/4' by 6 1/8'.
