10/20L Krug Gruss Aus Hamburg 1931

Original pre-war10/20L (1/2L)bier krug.This is an odd little krug with some unusual artwork. Greetings from Hamburg, dated 1931,celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Liebicin company.There are some small chips in the paint, like the white glaze of the characters shirt sleeves. The krug is in overall good condition.It measures about5' tall.This is a krug, not a stein. Stein is what English speakers and tourists say. In German asteinis a stone, and is not used to describe a beverage container.
