Leather Desk Blotter with Embossed Ship

Original pre-WWII German leather desk blotter embossed with a ship. The embossing is very deep. The condition is a little rough but it actually looks like it was lightly used at most. There are some pen scribbles on one of the folder pages probably from someone testing or trying to get their pen to flow. It has a locking compartment and still has its key. The outer cover is in decent condition with the most wear near the spine. Inside, some of the paper pieces are rough and peeling away from the cover and the edges of the folder section are rough. Clean this up a bit and it will leave quite an impression. Closed, it measures about 15 1/2' x 11 1/4'.
