AS-IS Gebirgsjäger Rucksack 1941

Original, well used, Gebirgsjäger rucksack. The backpack straps are complete with the lower clips. The bag is in over all rough condition. A few of the leather closure straps are missing the leather is dry but fairly flexible. It has numerous period repairs. Dated 1941. There are some small holes in the bottom of the bag and in the front pocket. The internal pocket appears to be complete. With a little attention to the leather and replacing the missing straps this would be a pretty nice rucksack for reenacting.
