Shop Package Handles

Period German wooden shop advertising package handles. When you bought something large at a store it would be boxed up, bound with string and then this carrying handle would clip onto the string. It made carrying your parcel easier and advertised for their store. This would be a great homefront item or a great item for a soldier returning from leave. The price is for one handle. All are marked to a shoe store (Schuhhaus Kreisel Hohenstein - Er.). The wooden portion itself measures 3 5/8'.
