Heimbach Eifel Souvenir Wooden Boot Necklace

Vintage 1930s souvenir wooden shoe necklace from the German city of Heimbach (located in North Rhine Westphalia). The main attraction of the town is Eifel National Park. The little hiking boots have flowers (edelweiss?) painted on them. The boots measure a little over 1' long and the string is about 14' long. They are in overall good condition but the string has some fading / discoloration.
