Be-Ka 4700 Bakelite Pencil Sharpener

Original Be-Ka 4700 Bakelite pencil sharpener marked D.R.P.Ausl.Pat. (Deutsches Reichs Patent Auslands Patent). It doesn't work very well (it only seems to sharpen the very end), but there might just be a trick to it that I am not getting. It has an unusual 4 blade set up inside. It is in otherwise good condition and displays nicely. It stands 2 3/4' tall.
