German Pendant Necklace

Vintage pre-WWII German pendant necklace. It looks like a locket, but it is not. The front has a rose and a pink rhinestone. Necklaces like this have been common in Germany since WWI. The last photo is from a late 1910s Prym catalog (Prym's Zukunft Die Weltmarke Verzeichnis der Zugabe Artikel). The charm measures about 1' in diameter. The chain is approximately 19 3/4' long. The chain is marked 'Am. Double' which stands for Amerikaner Double (a gold plating method that originated in the US in 1900).
