French Second Empire, Public Officials Buckle, Institution Com'le Marseilian

Original era manufacture. A fine quality officials buckle of stamped brass, with a fire gilt finish, with the reverse covered in red Moroccan leather. Paris makers stamp on the catch, nice Imperial Eagle on the obverse. Very clean, measures 53 x 50 mm.
