Original Bakelite Soap Dish with Carving

Original WWII era Bakelite soap dish. This appears to be Japanese since it has a typical Japanese mountain/sea and tree themed etching on the front as well as what looks like Japanese characters on the side.It is in good condition. It measures about 3 5/8' x 2 5/8' and is a little under 1 3/4' tall.
