Dark Blue Dirndl Traditional Dress(B-38 1/2' W-27')

Vintage dirndl traditional dress; 3-piece outfit (top, skirt and undershirt).MEASUREMENTS (approximate):Top: **Bust- 38 1/2'Waist- 33'Length- 20 1/2'Skirt: **Waist- 26' - 27'Hip- freeLength- 35'**There is a fair amount of extra material on the top; it could be lengthened by up to 3' at the shoulders and the sides could be taken out up to 2 1/2'. The skirt has two hooks and eyes and a snap underneath. If you wore just one hook and eye on the largest setting it could accommodate a 28' waist.This dirndl is slightly different from most, it seems to have more of an Swiss / Alps look rather than a Bavarian look. It is made of wool with lovely embroidered flower designs. The top closes with large decorative hooks and eyes.The bottom of the skirt is trimmed in red. The top is lined in a pink material. The skirt waistband is the same pink material.The outfit is an older vintage, although I am not sure exactly how old (probably 1940s - 1960s). The white undershirt is newer vintage (made with in the last 30 years).It is in overall good condition, it shows some very light general wear. The skirt has one tiny pinprick hole. The waist band on the skirt has some fraying and tears to the reinforcing material (it does not effect its look or wearability).Free shipping in the US.
