Pre-war German box for silk yarn. Bestes Nordisches Seidengarn ('Best Nordic Silk Yarn'). It is probably from the 1920s. It measures a little under 9 1/4' by about 3 5/8'. It is a little over 2 3/4' tall.It is in fair condition. The paper labels have rips. The corners are torn. There is a lot of general wear, especially along the edges. It is still not in bad shape considering its age and fragile nature
