Original 1930's Sanella Margarine Carton

Original 1930's paper carton for margarine. The 1931 date on the box has to do with the standard to which the box is constructed. I have had similar boxes with the 1931 date standard with use dates into the 1940's. It has fantastic graphics with a salesperson printed on the inside. It is in decent condition for a paper carton.It is a little dirty and discolored, the hinge portion is a little weak and cracked a bit on one side. The tabs on the side that tuck in and hold the box closed are damaged, one is missing, the other is creased. There is a small paper label on one side from where the box was re-purposed and used to store something else. This is a great display item. Considering its age, it is holding up well.It measures approximately 10 5/8' X 14 1/8' X 2 3/4'.
