Japanese WWII Patriotic Postcard, Hybrid Aircraft Carrier/Battleship Ise

Original period manufacture. Prewar full color card of the Imperial Navy Battleship Ise. Entering service in 1917, she was converted in mid-1942 with a flight deck added to her hull with the two aft turrets removed. She was considered too old for active service but did see combat in SE Asia late in the war. She was heavily damaged by US carrier aircraft while serving as a floating AA battery. Her hulk was scrapped postwar.
