Japanese WWII Patriotic Postcard, Heavy Cruiser Chokai

Original period manufacture. A Takao class heavy cruiser launched in 1932, she saw considerable action in the Pacific during WWII. She participated in the sinking of the US cruisers, Astoria, Vincennes,Quincy and HMAS Canberra during the Battle of Savo Island August 1942. She was sunk during the Battle off Samar in October 1944, and her wreck was discovered in 2019 sitting upright on the sea floor.
