Description

Original period manufacture. Launched in 1915, the second of the Fuso-class dreadnoughts, she did not see service during WWI. In WWII she played a secondary role due to her smaller 14mm main armament. She participated in the Aleutian campaign in 1942, she was sunk by surface fire during the Battle of Surigao Strait, there were only 10 survivors. 1930 Naval Maneuver cachet on the obverse.
