Original period publication. Hardbound book published 168 years ago with a forward by then Secretary of War Jefferson Davis, who in a few years would become the President of the Confederate States of America. All details of the conduct of the Army are presented in 457 pages, with a 21 page Appendix in the back listing the Articles of War. No loose pages, Cover has some wear in the way of chipping on the spine, but remains quite sound and readable.***A postscript to include my apologies for the quality of the photos here.
