Vintage WWII WAAC / WAC (Women's Army Corps) khaki Hobby hat. It is marked size 22 1/2. Officer. The WAC changed from thewalking eagleto the standard eagle that was used on men's hats in late summer of 1943.Decent condition. Overall light discoloration. There is a moth hole under the band on the front (hidden when worn). There is a small hole on one side above the button. Small holes on the underside of the brim. Marked Knox New York Koblentz Chattanooga, Tenn, under plastic. Some staining on the lining. The color is most representative on the glass head.
