Original Civil Defense service ribbon bar pin. Awarded between May 1943 to 1945 to recognize 500 hours of meritorious volunteer service on Civil Defense duties.AS-IS.Some staining and discoloration (looks like water staining). Slightly warped. Safety pin sewn on the back in place of an actual ribbon backing. The whole thing looks home made.
