Japanese WWII Signed Rising Sun Flag, 32 x 29 Inches

Original era manufacture. Printed cotton design with two reinforced corners with tie strings. The white rays have a toned appearance from age, with numerous hand applied kanji within the rays. No holes or tears, just normal age and wear. This has not been translated, however the gentleman we purchased it from was told that it celebrated a soldiers participation in a battle in China.
