German WWII Tan Canvas Tropical Breadbag, 1941

Original period manufacture. An unusual pattern breadbag of tan canvas with brown leather trim, and complete with all of its metal fittings. The central strap with the belt hook is maker marked and dated 1941.The tan coloring and early date leads me to believe this might be the 1st issue tropical service breadbag....just a guess. Overall the breadbag is unused, but does show soiling from long storage, doubt if it was ever used.
