German WWII S84/98 Bayonet & Scabbard, Matching, fnj 43 Code

Original era manufacture. A clean example, purchased from the family of the US veteran who brought it home from WWII.Matching numbers blade to scabbard, 9903v, and maker coded and dated, fnj 43 (Alexander Coppel). Most of the original finish remains on the blade, guard, pommel and dent-free scabbard. Original finish wooden grips, at one point in time, the right grip panel having a swastika lightly carved into its surface.
