WH (Heer) Combat Rucksack

Wehrmacht (Heer) Combat Rucksack (Rucksack). During the war the early M34 and M39 Affe backpacks were found to be too expensive and time consuming to produce which resulted in the production of a wide variety of less expensive canvas construction combat rucksacks and backpacks. This is a mid-war rucksack, executed in green, 'heavy-duty' cotton and has a rounded fold over top flap. There is an affixed inner-pouch made of cotton, intended to hold some private items, like towels etc. Recycled materials are used for the construction of the rucksack. The rucksack is nicely RB.Nr.0/0156/0013 marked. Nice original rucksack in very good condition!
