Description

WWII Japanese Army Field Cap-This is produced in olive drab wool and is in sound condition. There is minor wear, some discoloration and a few nibbles. The cloth army star is missing but you can see the stitches where it once resided. The right side of the cap has the initials of the wearer stitched in cloth. The leather chinstrap is present but worn, stiff and split in the back. There are brass buttons holding it in place. Each side has three ventilation holes. It is tied in the back. The interior is fully lined in an off white cheese cloth. It is well marked with maker info etc. There is a dark reddish brown leather sweatband that is very soft and fully intact. A sound example overall!
