Original period manufacture. Standard pattern type-30 bayonet, bright blade, rounded bird head pommel and contoured wooden grips. Nice amount of blue finish remains on the pommel and guard. Nice bright blade with a few spots of staining at the point. Clear Mukden arsenal markings, serial number on the pommel. Blue steel scabbard with just a few shallow dents, nice surface finish. The blade is a bit tight fit going into the scabbard. Overall a very nice Japanese bayonet.
