US WWII, Army-Navy 'E' Award Program & Sterling Marked Badge, 1943

Original era manufacture. Award ceremony program for the presentation of the Army-Navy E production award, to the men and women of the Optical Division of International Industries Inc in Ann Arbor Michigan. The ceremony was held on Monday, June 14th 1943, and was attended by the families and friends of the workers. Included is a sterling silver marked original E badge. The Army-Navy 'E' Award was presented to those firms and companies whose efforts achieved the excellence in production of wartime requirements. Only 5% of the 85,000 eligible companies received the award during WWII.
