Kriegsmarine U-boat Bordmutze cap + U-707 emblem

A exceptionally nice originalKriegsmarine Bordmutzesidecap in dark blue cloth. This example remains in excellent condition, and retains the factory applied insignia to the front peak.This one also comes with an original tradition pin badge for U-707, fitted as shown.U-707 was a type VIIC U-boat and one which took part in a total of 3 patrols. During these actions it was responsible for sinking 2 ships. Ultimately, however, the U-boat was to meet its demise on the 9th Novemeber 1943 in the North Atlantic.
