An original WW1 era German propaganda Lithograph showing the Fat Cook, struggling to keep all his pots from burning. This relates to Britain's colonies at the time and how the people from those colonies would be conscripted in a time of war. The pots are marked 'India. Egypt. Irland etc.It was published in Lustige Blätter on 5th May 1916, this was a satirical magazine working between 1885 and 1944 in Berlin.It is in condition and mounted with some minor signs of age and use, it measures 10 x 12 inches.
