Killed-in-Action: Private William Hook 1st Battalion Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) is confirmed Killed-in-Action in France on, 3 September 1918William's body was recovered from the battlefield, and he now lies buried at the Dury Crucifix Cemetery, France, where his life and supreme self sacrifice is commemorated in perpetuity by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
