Available
£40.00

Description

Here on offer is an ornate Victorian gilt brass sovereign case with the profile image of a young Queen Victoria inside. It has an attractive raised scrolling design on the front with a small blank cartouche that could be engraved with the owner's initials. The back of the case has a smooth plain gilt finish. You press button on the top to release the catch and open the case, which reveals the interior that still retains the original bright gilt finish. The sprung coin compartment is topped with the raised profile of a young Queen Victoria, similar to that found upon the sovereign coins themselves. It is in great condition with no dents or damage that I can see, there is just some slight loss to the external gilt finish, which also now has a slightly dark patina to the finish. The case measures 1.2' (3.1cm) diameter excluding the cain suspension ring and is 0.6' (1.5cm) thick. It weighs 23g.Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description. Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched. The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
