This is a nice Taiso Enthronement commemorative medal with ribbon.This medal was conferred upon individuals in recognition of service during the ceremonies celebrating Tisho's accession to the throne in 1015. The obverse Japanese characters translate to 'May the Emperor Live Ten Thousand Years'.
