Description
A 1938 production British army helmet with insignia to side of the Royal Army Medical Corps.This helmet is a true Mk1* as evidenced by its turned back chinstrap lug configuration & of rimless manufacture. Finished in rough textured factory khaki paint to outside & smooth to underside the liner cradle bears the clear 1938 date with 'VERO' maker . Underside of shell rim marked 'A/V'.
