Description
An example of the M1903 model of cartridge belt made for the .30-06 Springfield rifle . This is the second variant with 'puckered' pockets designed to prevent excess wear from the 'Spitzer' type bullets then in use.These belts were still very much in use during WW1 , this variant with eagle snaps being not commonly encountered.
