WW2 US Rubberised Amphibious Beach Assault Radio Bag

A Signal Corps BG-169 rubberised amphibious beach landing bag to protect the SCR-593 radio.This & other patterns of bag were vastly used during the Normandy Landings to protect signals & other equipment from the sea water. Certainly suitable for a display the rubber has perished in places with one of the rear straps detached at bottom rear. Some old repair with black tape has been attempted to the rubber in places .Various markings as photographed , classic item used on the landing beaches of Utah & Omaha.
