WW1 French 1915 Officer Aspirant Infantry Kepi

Rare WW1 French Infantry Kepi of the 1915 period this being one of the first productions of the new 1915 blue uniform.In the classic wartime Polo shape it has red flecked rank bar to front denoting officer aspirant with gilt chinstrap & officer rank piping. Flaming grenade buttons to each side denoting infantry. Interior has a quality leather sweatband with red silk lining & green card to underside of peak.Overall there are a few moth nips to the wool but not detracting this being a very rare cap of the '15 period.
