Indian Army 12th Frontier Force officers silver plated cap badge

Great example of a theatre made 12th F.F.REGT officers cap badge worn circa 1922-45.Looking at the detail on the back you can clearly see that this example was produced from a cast of a solid silver J.R .G & S (J.R GAUNT & SONS) hallmarked silver badge, details of the hallmark date not clear but still an interesting example
