Impressive 32mm chrome and enamel, pinback lapel badge for a member of the Inspectorate of Fighting Vehicles. The IFV were created under the auspices of the Ministry of Supply consisting of senior engineering and administrative staff who oversaw the production of fighting vehicles by previously civilian contractors ensuring that the vehicles, from tanks to motorcycles, came up to the required standard.
