EK II award document of 'Obergefreiten' August Domnick who served within Gren.Rgt. 236 of the 69.Inf.Div.The document has been signed by 'Generalmajor' Ernst-Anton von Krosigk (RK 12-2-1944 ,EL 12-4-1945 who commanded the 1.Inf.Div..Von Krosiqk was 'Oberbefehlshaber' (supreme commander) of the 16.Armee since 10-3-1945 and killed by armed attack few days later at Kanden in Kurland (Courland).Krosiqk has been awarded the EL postoumusly on 12-4-1945.Both 1.Inf.Div. and 69.Inf.Div.were active in the Leningrad area.Great award document!!
