Description

In a very good condition a German short hunting sword(Erber)Marker Erber which stands for Vereinigte Fabriken Erber'scher Stahlwaren GmbH from Neustadt. This company operated from 1899-1924. Most likely made during the emperial time before WWI.The cutlass has a stag grip and fitted with three metal rounds. It has a plain metal cross-guard which is marked on the rear side with S.M. 4 . Marked on the ricasso Eber.The cutlass blade is very nice. The scabbard has an acorn on one side and metal fittings fitted on a leather scabbard. At one point someone has place a long blade inside the scabbard because there is an indentation coming outwards on the bottom, no puncture has been made!The blade length is +/- 44 cmThe total length is 56 cmMore pictures available on request!
