Montgomeryshire Yeomanry Cavalry Shoulder Scales

A scarce pair of Montgomeryshire Yeomanry Cavalry white metal shoulder (lobster) scales from the early to mid Victorian period.The well polished buttons have some loss of detail to the Welsh dragons and the MYC lettering, one loop missing to the reverse, still retains some old electrical wiring used for hanging the pair up on a wall /beam.Sourced in the old county of Montgomeryshire.
