1942 Far East Royal Artillery Slouch / Bush Hat

An all original, fresh to the market 1942 dated British made Slouch hat with its undisturbed Royal Artillery flash and metal flaming grenade badge.The khaki felt hat is in wonderful condition retaining good shape and colour, un-messed with multi-fold pagri, good working ''Newey'' popper.The leather sweatband bears the makers ''Bevan'' along with a year date (1942) and size 6 3/4 .Still retains its leather chinstrap, one end unattached but still has its hook fastener so easily tacked back on, left as found, small silk bow at rear of liner present but loose.A really nice example with only light service wear, some minor blemishes/marks, great display piece.Please study the images in regards to condition.
