1942 Dated British 40 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse

A most pleasing 1942 dated 40 pattern Battle Dress Blouse in a good size 13, the BD still retains its early style paper label and states the makers name as W.A.Phelps, a partial WD acceptance ''O'' code can be seen which also confirms the year of manufacture as 1942.The BD shows little sign of being worn and has a wonderfully clean liner, one small nip at rear of collar and one very small hole to left arm, shown in the images. The photos were taken in bright sunlight which will highlight any faults and as you can see it is a very smart looking BD blouse, some light rusting to double hook fastener, good clean waist buckle. Nice example, never been badged.
