WW1 Canada - 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles (CMRR) Gilding Metal Brass Cap Badge

A pleasing browning brass example with two original loops to the reverse. Circa 47mm tall (the collars of the same pattern were worn in facing pairs but smaller at circa 29mm tall). Raised in the Toronto area and perpetuated by the Governor Generals Bodyguard. A later version had a scroll change (CMR as opposed to CMRR).
