WW1 Original Postcard - Royal Naval Division (RND) Sailor in Full Rig!

A scarce original WW1 postcard, postally unused. it shows a black and white portrait of an unnamed member of the RND with his Royal Naval Division Cap Tally Hat Band in full naval rig. Taken before the issue of khaki battledress (post Antwerp) and therefore most likely whilst still undergoing training at Crystal Palace in late 1914. Khaki uniforms started to make an appearance in January 1915. Slight edge tear on left side of image otherwise in good condition and scarce.Comm JoPa (21)
