2nd Lieut Frank Irvin Young, 3rd and 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers - KIA Somme

Original cabinet portrait photograph, attributed on reverse. In good condition. KIA on 24th July 1916 whilst serving with the 1st Battalion on the Somme. Whilst an impressive biography appears for him in the Regimental Gazette for August 1916, there is no photograph. I have a lot of information on this soldier and his family. He wears a QSA medal ribbon as served in South Africa with the ASC. Happy to share some of this with the buyer.Comm FB
