US Indian Wars, 6th Cavalry Soldier's Hand-Book, 1884-1893 Enlistment

Original era manufacture. A very sound example of a Cavalry soldiers handbook, which is named, dated and unit identified to the 6th US Cavalry Regiment. The most interesting aspect of this handbook would be of course the information found in his clothing account. The entries date from December of 1884 to January of 1893. The 6th Cavalry Regiment saw extensive service here in the Southwest during that time period. With many engagements with hostile Apache Warriors. Light age and wear, excellent research potential.
