Royal Artillery Officers Small pattern Fire Gilt Beret Cap Badge - Gaunt

Small pre 1952 beret pattern fire gilt die cast cap badge - a real belts and braces this one - with slider and two original lugs! The slider has JR Gaunt.London on the reverse, but the reverse is also maker marked in embossed lettering. Do not be put off by the full stop after Gaunt. This is the correct small pattern name stamping which DID use a full stop. The naming is the 13mm long and about 1mm tall. Badge is circa 4.6cm wide and 3.4cm tall.
