Robertsons Golly bagpiper white waistcoat advertising badge Large F&S B'HAM

A good original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Bagpiper Golly promotional badge', with small feet wearing a white waistcoat, bright blue coat and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' on bagpipe under golden translucent enamel, the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'F&S B'HAM' (Fattorini & Sons, Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Height approx 34mm.
