WW1 Midland Railway War Service numbered badge

A scarce original First World War period 1914-1918 gilt brass enamel circular badge, blue enamel title surroundr, Crowned 'RAILWAY SERVICE' to the centre on white enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details Thos Fattorini Bolton', impressed with official issue number 'E 12767' and 'Regd 638232'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, chip to the enamel in the 2 o'clock position.Diameter approx 28mm.
